Diploma in Pharmacy
Overview
D.Pharmacy is a two year full-time diploma Program intended to equip candidates to work as a registered pharmacist in hospitals, private and Govt sectors, retail / community pharmacies, pharmaceutical industries and other pharmaceutical related fields.
Eligibility for admission to D.Pharm programme
(A pass in any one of the following Examination)
HSC (+2 ) Examination or equivalent with the following group of subjects | 1. Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology (or) Computer Science 2. Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology |

The candidate must have completed 17 years of age or above and should not have completed 30 years.

Practical Hospital Training
The students should undergo practical training in a Government hospital for not less than 500 hours spread over a period of 3 months. The goal of practical training for the students is to provide a real time, supervised experience on the professional tasks emphasized in their course of study. The practical training intensively prepares the students with adequate competencies and qualification required for the career opportunity in the future.

Higher studies
Candidates opting for higher studies can join B. Pharmacy Programme directly in to the second year as lateral entry.
